Meet this extraordinary soldier who reaches out to the poor.
Guwahati: Biraj Hazarika is a soldier with a difference. He shoots bullets when his duty demands, but more than that his affinity towards the poor has few matches. He carries a kind heart that has spread length and breadth of Guwahati.
Dibyajyoti Hazarika, popularly known as Biraj Hazarika is a CISF cadre from Darang district. He's in a mission to bring about a change in the society with his deeds.
Since his early career he was found helping the underprivileged kids of the society. He spends 10% of his salary for the welfare of poor children of the country.
Hazarika spends time visiting the slum areas of the state by providing food, clothes and other necessary items to the children.
Over the years, he has helped more than thousands of children of the country by providing them the basic amenities. Apart from that he also helps poor families on every monthly.
He plans to establish a strong bond with every poor family in the state by extending a helping hand.
